Afternoon at Little Island @ Pier 55

Details
Little Island, New York City's newest public park, opened on May 21. I have not been yet and thought this would be a perfect opportunity.
Little Island is a 2.4-acre public park in Hudson River Park on the West side of Manhattan located in the Hudson River off of the West Side Highway with entrances at West 13th and 14th Streets.
This beautiful $260 million park that took 5 years to build was funded primarily through Barry Diller and the Diller-Von Furstenberg Family Foundation through an extraordinary philanthropic gift to the city. It has been called "a marvel of design". The park sits above 132 concrete “Tulips” (or piles), which make up its structure. There are incredible views and lots of photogenic spots, so bring your camera.
I have 16 (free but often sold out) tickets to Little Island on Saturday, August 7th at 1pm. I will send information about where to meet the group on Friday night or Saturday morning. We may meet somewhere where we can grab coffee or snacks before we go. Feel free to bring your own drinks and/or snacks but understand that bringing outside liquor into the park is prohibited.
