Afternoon at Grand Bazaar NYC (UWS)

Details

Is anyone interested in checking out a local flea market?

The Grand Bazaar NYC (originally GreenFlea Market) was launched by a group of parents as a simple yard sale to raise funds for their children’s schools in 1982, making it the oldest (flea) market in New York City.

Today, Grand Bazaar NYC is the oldest, largest, and most diverse curated weekly market in New York City. It includes local independent artists, designers, craft-makers, vintage and antique dealers, and artisanal food entrepreneurs, while passing on 100% of its profits to four local public schools, benefitting over 2,000 children. The Bazaar has over 43,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, and during peak season over 200 vendors set-up shop.

Let's plan on going at 11am. Depending on the size of the group, we may stay together or break up into smaller groups. I understand they have a large selection of artisanal food vendors, so I plan to grab something to eat (and maybe drink) there. I have opened this event up to allow guests, so bring a friend. I will send information out to those who RSVP with information about where we will meet before the event.

I'm in. Join me.
