A Late Bloomer’s Guide to GenAI: Ethics, Bias, & Effective Prompting Techniques

Details

As generative AI rapidly advances, understanding its ethical implications and inherent biases becomes crucial. This talk will explore the iterative process of prompt engineering to steer outputs effectively. By recognizing GenAI's limitations and maintaining a human-centric approach, we can leverage its capabilities for routine tasks while directing human effort towards more complex priorities. This balanced perspective allows us to harness AI's potential responsibly, continuously refining our methods to address emerging ethical challenges. In our GenAI journey, look out for hallucinations where clouds are made of cotton candy and the capital of France is London - and always try to ensure fair use.
