Janel Merritt is a Chief Operating Officer and transformation leader with over three decades of experience in technology, operations, and strategic growth. As COO of Public Sector Solutions Group (PS2G), she has supported the company in scaling from a $3M regional operation to a multi–eight-figure enterprise with a national footprint.
Janel is the architect of PS2G’s Energy & Utilities practice, building it from a single local engagement into a national offering supporting some of the country’s largest utility organizations. Her work sits at the intersection of grid modernization, enterprise systems, and operational execution. She focuses on connecting strategy to measurable performance.

Beyond her executive role, Janel serves as a board member, speaker, guest lecturer, and instructor. She is passionate about equipping leaders with the tools, particularly AI, to think sharper, operate more strategically, and scale their impact both professionally and personally, with a strong commitment to empowering women to lead with clarity, confidence, and influence.
