Spring Lightning Talks 🌼⚑

Details

Just like flower buds love blooming in March, how about you let your ideas do the same by holding a lightning talk as part of our spring meet-up? 🌸

πŸ€” What is a lightning talk and should I sign up for this?
The public speaking scene is challenging, not least when you are trying to break into it. We’ve all been there doubting our skills and ideas or maybe we just lack opportunities in our working day to practice.

More often than not we just want a safe space to find our voice and rhythm, as well as receive some feedback. A lightning talk is a great way to do all of this.

A lightning talk is a very short presentation lasting only a few minutes, given at a conference or similar forum. Several lightning talks will usually be delivered by different speakers in a single session. (wikipedia)

Whether you are keen to present or just very happy to listen, learn or give feedback, everyone is welcome, regardless of your level of experience.
There is no set topic to present on, so you can pick anything you are motivated to talk about. It's about passion, practice and confidence more than anything.

PLUS!!! Your talk will be professionally edited and hosted on the Women in Agile London YouTube channel ready for any future conference submissions.

πŸ“‹ Guidelines for presentations:
▢️ 5 minutes maximum (time-box)
