Data Hack Evening - Spring Edition

Spring is just around the corner and the first cherry trees are already blooming! A great opportunity to analyse some cherry tree data together!

If you are interested in starting a career in data or are already working in the field and want to practice your data skills together with other women in a relaxed environment, this is the event for you!

Our Data Hack Meetup provides a safe and welcoming environment to exchange about your skills, your career change your evolution and network with other women & men.

The agenda for the evening:

• 18:30 - Networking: get yourself a drink and some food - Food and drinks provided!
• 19:00 - Short introduction round so everybody can know your name, what you do and what will be your focus during the event.
• 19:15 - Let's analyse some data together! We have a look at this data of the time of cherry trees flowering in Kyoto, Japan. We will not give a tutorial on how to analyse the data, rather everyone is free to do their own data discovery and follow different questions. We will provide some suggestions on interesting questions to investigate and some links of tutorials . The idea is to learn with and from each other.
  You are free to use any tool of your choice to analyse the data, we do recommend to have any tools you want to use already installed before the event and also to already download the data beforehand.
