We invite you to this special session on WiBD’s Hackathon program for our DataCamp Donates community. Join us to hear about insightful experiences, personal growth stories from our past Hackathon participants.

WiBD’s Global Hackathon Director, **Rupa Gangatirkar **will share about WiBD’s Hackathon program, how you can join the Winter 2025 cohort, eligibility criteria, and what to expect.
In this session, you will learn about opportunities provided by WiBD to learn, grow and practice your Data skills with real-world challenges, using the latest technologies while keeping the basics solid. You will work under a technical domain expert who will mentor you to complete the challenge.

Rupa Gangatirkar is a lead AIML Solutions Architect and Senior Data Scientist at Siemens EDA. She leads data and AIML solutions for Computer Chip/ASIC/SOC Design Verification technologies at Siemens EDA. Prior to joining Siemens, Rupa led various roles in AI and ML as a Data Analytics Director, lead Machine Learning Engineer and Data Scientist at various startups working on digital transformation using AI, building AI and ML capabilities across wide industry verticals. Having a long career in the semiconductor industry, Rupa worked at Intel Corp for 15+ years in senior roles covering chip design, verification, CPU architecture, IoT and embedded systems. Rupa holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Shivaji University, India. She is currently serving as WiBD’s Global Hackathon Director. Rupa is also involved with other technology organizations as a mentor to young professionals in data science, ML and AI hardware.
