What we’re about
Welcome to Women in Business Making Money! The goal of this group is to be around like-minded women who are building their businesses and focused on making money. We will discuss a variety of business topics to learn about running a business, challenge us to think bigger, and revisit business processes as we iterate on improvement.
Each meeting will have two parts:
- Business Topic Discussion
- Mastermind Discussion
The first 45-minutes will be a business topic discussion that revolves around improving our businesses. Topics from operations to tech, marketing, accounting, and legal/compliance.
The next 45-minutes is a mastermind discussion. One or two business owners will bring a business problem they want to discuss. The owner has two and half minutes to discuss a problem they are seeking to solve or brainstorm. After that, the other group members will have twenty minutes to offer feedback and suggestions pulled from their own business experience. Please reach out to the host if you'd like to bring your business problem forward to the mastermind.

Who is this group for?
This group and these discussions will most benefit women who own their business and have made at least $25,000 in revenue. If you are in the beginning stages of your business, I highly recommend checking out the wonderful resources provided by the Jax Chamber and the SBDC to help you build towards this revenue goal.
About the organizer:
Pomy is an entrepreneur from Jacksonville, FL. She was CEO of a successful technology consulting company for nine years working with small to global companies. She loves learning and being around like-minded, driven-women who are making a difference in their communities.
