Details

Do you feel motivated to transition to a cleantech or sustainability career? Are you curious about your transferable skills? Do you need help with your transition and how to get started? An increasing number of professionals are entering into green, cleantech & sustainability careers .
Although women make up just 26% of the energy workforce, they made up more than half of the net 300,000 energy jobs added in 2022, according to a June 2023 Department of Energy Report finding that Clean Energy Jobs Grew in Every State.
We have experts joining us to share the green career landscape, desirable transferable skills, their career transition journeys, hiring trends, employer expectations, advice and best practices to support your transition.
The workshop invites our speakers who have made the transition to a sustainability career to tell their journey and story for how to:

  1. Frame the Career Change.
  2. Identify Transferable Skills.
  3. Identify the Right Resources.
  4. Craft and Pitching Your New Story.
  5. Learn a New Language.
  6. Prepare yourself to transition.

Our panel will help you with your transition challenges. We’ll take your live career challenges during a Q and A session.
