Objectives – What You Will Leave Knowing **
How Networks function at a fundamental level What components of Networking are critical to a CyberSecurity Professional Basic Network Troubleshooting

Prerequisites**
Basic knowledge of computers and a desire to learn about why the knowledge of Networks/Communications are critical for the CyberSecurity field.

Network Fundamentals Network Components Network Security Hands-on/Lab exercises

Technical Requirements**
A computer running Windows or Macintosh is preferred. Basic knowledge of using Windows and/or Macs desired. If you have Linux, you can still follow along. A network connection to the internet

Instructor: Junaid Aasi
Bio:
Junaid Aasi is a Core Faculty Member of the University of Redlands School of Business Teaching various Information Technology Courses. He's also an Information Security Professional with over 15 years of solid experience in the IT field. He holds an MBA from Redlands and a Masters of Science in Computer Information Systems from Boston University. Junaid also likes to volunteer with local non profit organizations
