Details
Join us for our monthly talk! On Thursday, November 17, from 5-7 pm, at Madame Premier we will host a presentation on how womxn and other minorities can use data as a tool to advocate for themselves and advance their careers.
Doors open: 5 pm
Event start: 5:30 pm
Closing: 7 pm
Presented by Women in Data's own, Mariana de la Torre, she will discuss how using data can help you forge your career into a leadership path, and what it means to challenge the status quo while also helping others.
"Focusing on advocating for ourselves and advancing our careers has the power to open spaces for others alike to come through. Our efforts may not shatter the ceiling all at once, but they make cracks. Let's discuss ways to use data in our self-advocacy and how it can ripple to impact those we represent. Forging a path inherently makes us leaders, but it doesn't stop there". -M

The store is intentionally designed to be a space to help female candidates fundraise and to create capacity for women who are learning about politics as well as those looking to become more knowledgeable in specific advocacy areas.
