Susan Gongal is Managing Director at Surge Advisory, providing business advisory and process design expertise to Alberta small business and non-profit organizations. Prior to that, she spent over 19 years at WestJet in project, product manager, analyst and advisory roles across a variety of teams. She completed her Executive MBA from Royal Roads University in 2018. She has seen the business outcomes when decision-makers have high levels of trust in their data, the challenges that exist when trust is limited, and what it takes to build that trust.  

Shannon Snaden is a senior analyst in Revenue and Pricing at WestJet, focused on automating data pipelines using Alteryx and Tableau as well as strategy and competitive analysis. She graduated in 2019 at the University of Calgary MBA program where she learned about Entrepreneurship and Innovation. She first interned at WestJet in the Owner's Mindset team which was made up of specialists from across the organization focused on continuous improvement.  She is Co-Founder and former director of 8 Bit Cortex, a gamified mental health assessment platform, which was the 2020 Start-Up Calgary Launch Party People's Choice award winner. She has been a finalist in three 2020 MIT COVID-19 Challenges, finished in the Top 3 at a TechStars hackathon, and has placed 1st in the IXL Global Innovation Olympics. In her spare time, Shannon enjoys exploring national parks across Canada, visiting hot springs, and volunteering.
