Women represent less than 20% of senior management positions, they manage only 1% of the capital in Europe, and less than 1% of funding went to all-female-founded startups in 2020. This isn’t news. It’s a well-known problem that women are underrepresented in the tech industry.
It’s been clearly researched and proven over and over - diversity is a strength. It allows you to build more prosperous and impactful companies - all women and mixed founding teams are 73% more likely to build impact companies! They are also more likely to build better technology and products.
So when we consider the importance of developing technology by and for a diverse population, why are we still struggling to build well-balanced teams, funded by a diverse investor base??
Join us on October 26, as Gro, Ishita, and Madeleine will share the advantages and challenges in building businesses and developing technology for and by women.
Our events feature exclusively female speakers, but everyone is welcome to join, regardless of background and gender.
