Women Who Code (https://www.meetup.com/Women-Who-Code-Sydney/events/251878728/) in collaboration with Women In Game Development Sydney invite you to Make a Game with Electron.

Please, RSVP on Women Who Code page for this event!

During this workshop we will through the process of developing your first game using web technologies and proven practices.

We will start with the idea, talk about the game loop and game states, frontend-backend separation and communication, and then create our dice game for 2 players. The game will be built with HTML, CSS and Javascript on the frontend, and Node.js on the backend.

This workshop will require basic programming knowledge, and participants need to understand basic flow control (statements like if, switch, loops etc), simple condition logic and variable scope.

If you have some experience with any programming knowledge - you will be able to follow along and complete this workshop.

To participate in the workshop you'll need:
