Kick off 6pm for Nibbles and networking.
Welcome at 6:30pm and then dive into our session.

With the success of our Ai-prompt-a-thon, we have decided to do a series on Ai.

We are going to start with the basics so people have a way to start, to learn how to work safely with Ai, and get outcomes that work for you!

This will be a practical session, so bring your devices to practice on the night.

All are welcome, but this will be especially valuable for beginners.

Thank you to PMI Sydney Chapter, Escient and The Commons for your support.

A little about our presenter:
"Barbara Boo Watson, with over 20 years’ experience in business transformation, helping organisations improve how they work, lead change and deliver better outcomes.

My journey into AI began with curiosity and quickly became hands-on experimentation. Through vibe coding, I built my own idea validator, turning a concept into a working solution without a traditional technical background.

I also applied AI to my side hustle supporting women in menopause to lose weight, improve fitness and feel better. I developed Food Coaches and Emotional Eating Coaches, combining behavioural support with practical nutrition guidance. I mapped my lead-to-cash process and built 13 AI agents covering content creation, lead management, follow-ups, onboarding and administration.

This automation saved me around 15 hours per week and demonstrated the real impact of applying AI to everyday business processes.

I volunteer with Build Club, where I continue to learn, contribute and connect with others building practical AI solutions. I’m passionate about making AI accessible and showing that you don’t need to be a developer to start experimenting and creating value.

I believe AI can reduce repetitive work, improve decision-making and accelerate ideas. My focus is helping people see it as a practical tool that enhances both work and life."
