What we’re about
Welcome to the official San Antonio Chapter of the international non-profit organization, Women in Robotics. The San Antonio chapter of Women in Robotics is the first in our great state of Texas! We will host quarterly meetups for women and girls who have an interest in robotics or STEM related topics. Our meetups are open to anyone and any age, including the men who support women in robotics! We believe the activities and meetups of our WiR chapter will support a greater mission of promoting San Antonio as a global robotics cluster. We can do it!
WiR San Antonio aspirations:
· Promote the advancement of women who are contributing to robotic technology in the Alamo City
· Foster the growth of young girls who aspire to pursue careers in STEM
· Bridge the gap between industry and education
· Engage with women in robotics on a national and international level
WiR San Antonio meetup formats:
· Presentations and demonstrations
· Panel discussions
· Social events, networking and mentorship opportunities
· Tours of robotics labs across San Antonio
