Gabriella Burns is a self-taught software engineer with a background in environmental health. Her non-traditional path into the industry began when she joined Moody’s as a data specialist, where she taught herself Python to automate tasks, paving the way for her transition into software engineering. She is now a full-stack software engineer working with Rust, Python, React, and Typescript. Her work at Moody's focuses on building Rust APIs and features that enable seamless third-party integration with the platform. Gabriella is committed to sharing her knowledge with others and actively works to advance women in software engineering.
