Lightning Talks Evening 2021

Over the last few years, we have held Workshops and Lightning Talks events with the aim of encouraging more women to give technical talks. Female speaker representation in tech events and meetups increased as a result. We are keen to provide another event that will help female speakers practice their talks - in advance of upcoming 2021 tech events - OR just to give it a whirl anyway!

This year we are holding the event on Tuesday 14th September 2021 at 6pm:

Signifyd are kindly hosting and providing refreshments plus offering a Book Giveaway! We also plan to stream it live on the night for those who cannot attend in person.

NOTE - Anyone who is attending in person on the night should come to the 7th floor in Riverhouse, you will need to download the "Envoy" App and sign up to register at Signifyd Belfast. If you have major issues with this, they can register you in the office.

Signifyd have conducted the required Covid Risk Assessment - they advise anyone in their office that they should wear a mask when not seated. They will have masks and sanitizer available at reception.

Doors 18.00 for 18.30 start. Food and drink (alcoholic and soft drinks, teas and coffees) will be provided. Gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options will be available.
