Highly Sensitive Women Leaders
Details
“Highly Sensitive Women Leaders” is a special Women in Tech Cluj meetup dedicated to reflection, depth, and the quiet strengths that shape remarkable leadership.
This edition is held in memory of Paula Tibre 🌹, a cherished former speaker and member of our community, a respected technology leader in Cluj, and former CTO at the Financial Times. Paula was not only an accomplished executive, but also someone who led with empathy, clarity, and intellectual generosity. One of her deepest passions was transformation — personal transformation, transformation within relationships, and transformation across organisations and wider systems. Her presence, voice, and influence continue to inspire many of us.
The session draws from Paula’s master’s research at INSEAD 🎓, where she explored the experience of highly sensitive women in leadership. Together, we’ll dive into what it truly means to be a highly sensitive leader in the tech world — a space that often celebrates loudness, speed, and constant intensity.
We will explore:
- The core traits of highly sensitive women leaders
- How sensitivity can be a leadership asset, not a limitation
- The inner and outer conditions that help these leaders thrive
- How to use empathy, depth, and intuition as strategic strengths
This meetup is both a learning space and a moment of collective remembrance 🕯️— an opportunity to honor Paula’s legacy by continuing the conversation she cared deeply about. It’s for women in tech who have ever felt their sensitivity set them apart in traditional leadership environments, and are ready to recognize it as a source of insight, strength, and impact.
Join us for an evening of insight, connection, and meaning — in the spirit of a leader who showed that strength and sensitivity can, and should, coexist. 🤲
