## Talk #1 from Tania Kalambet, Manager @ Deloitte
Data-Based Decision Making: Where Things Can Go Wrong
In today’s world, we’re all encouraged to “trust the data” – but what happens when the data leads us down the wrong path?In this session, Tania will draw from her experience at Deloitte, Google Cloud, and ImmoScout24 to unpack the common traps businesses fall into when trying to make data-driven decisions. From dodgy metrics to context-blind dashboards, she’ll explore how even the most well-meaning strategies can go off course.
This talk is ideal for anyone working in or around decision-making, product, strategy or operations. You’ll come away with a better understanding of where things often go wrong, and how to bring a more thoughtful, critical lens to data-led conversations in your own teams.
Check out her article on the topic here: What’s wrong with data-based decision-making?
