Details

👟 LET’S GO FOR A “WALKY TALKY” TOGETHER.

Women in Tech Regatta and Loop Walking Club is thrilled to offer this walk for a good cause at the annual Walk For Rice benefiting ACRS.

🎟️ REGISTER HERE! 🎟️

The goal is simple: To move your body to fuel your mind and connect more fully with yourself—and others—by connecting with the world outside🌳. Studies show you’re twice as creative while out walking as you are slumped behind your desk. And you need those big ideas to make the most of your big life 🌟.

We're adding another fun twist to our signature Walky Talky event! Join us as we walk and talk with some amazing, trailblazing Women on Boards👩‍💼📑. Securing a board position, whether corporate or non-profit can be rewarding and transformative while providing a huge opportunity for career advancement (SpencerStuart, 2010):

  • Provide a high level of leadership experience
  • Enhance strategic planning skills
  • Build financial acumen
  • Build an understanding of corporate governance
  • Offer networking opportunities
  • And many more

Walk and talk with leaders who have joined non-profit Boards in the Pacific Northwest. Define where you want to make an impact and get advice on how to map out securing your Board seat!

How this works:
🔗 We pair you with other walkers and leaders, and as you walk, you talk!
Rain ☔️ or Shine ☀️.

Walking Leaders:
Katie Mooney | Managing Director, Seramount | Boards: ACRS and formerly GSBA
Amelia Ransom, SPHR | VP Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Smartsheet | Boards: YWCA King|Seattle|Snohomish, Leadership Tomorrow, Evergreen, Goodwill, Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, The Institute for Sustainable Diversity and Inclusion
