Island Lake Lantern Hike

We're due for a heat wave this weekend, so let's take the opportunity for our first official hike! Island Lake Rec Area is hanging lanterns along the Hickory Ridge Trail for a unique night-hike opportunity. We'll meet at the Kent Lake parking lot after sunset and explore the one mile out-and-back trail section. Dress warm, wear ice cleats or snowshoes if you have them, and bring a light as backup.
