AVL Women in Trades Meet & Greet Event (Thurs 5/9)

Have you ever wondered about getting your general contractor license? please join this meet up with presenter, Andrew Hager, COO of National Contractors Seminars, Inc.

We will learn when is a GC License required in North Carolina. Followed by the importance of being licensed in North Carolina and how to Become a Licensed Contractor.

Our hosts will cover the first drink and will have snacks available. Guidon has a kitchen and serves food if you would like to order dinner or snacks.

About the group:
Welcome female identified and non-binary people who work in traditionally male industries. Come meet other rockstar women in the trades. This will be a relaxed informal meet and greet, with a peer presentation at the beginning of of the Meetup. Come share your knowledge, connections and encouragement.

This is an intergenerational group learning from those who came before, and lifting up women new in the community. This group is inclusive of any who identify as female or non-binary.

If you work (or worked) in the trades, including but not limited to, plumbers, electricians, contractors, people in staging/live events, brewing, hom inspectors, handy women, or other, we want to meet you.

This is a space to learn of each other, be able to pass work to each other, and find support from one another. Come and join the conversation.
