About the Event
Disrupting the Matrix is a flagship event series by czacreates, created for women and nonbinary people who don’t fit neatly into linear career narratives.

This edition of Disrupting the Matrix takes the form of a pyjama conference.
Literally.

This is an intentional, relaxed space designed to slow things down and create room for honest conversation, reflection and imagination. So come in your PJs.
Vol. 002: Everyday Futurism invites us to explore the futures we are already building - through creativity, community, experimentation and lived experience. Especially when the usual pathways don’t exist (yet) or don’t work.

This is not your typical career event.
This is not a panel about “success”.
It’s a space to reflect, connect and imagine what comes next.

What to Expect

• The Exchange

An intimate, guided conversation exploring future-building beyond traditional careers and systems.

• The Build

A collaborative working session where participants explore shared questions, challenges and possibilities around building what’s next. Hosted by Mad Bad Black Women (MBBW)

• The Assembly

Deepening the themese from the first session

• The Commons

Intentional networking and connection designed for meaningful exchange and community building

This is a pyjama conference — come comfortable, as you are.
Who This Is For
This event is for women and nonbinary people who:

• are navigating nonlinear careers or reinvention
• are building something new without a clear roadmap
• feel between worlds professionally or personally
• are curious about future-building grounded in real life

No industry, age or title requirements

What to Prepare:
Come as you are- curious, uncertain, dreaming big or just figuring it out. Leave with courage and a sense of community you can carry forward. Because success isn’t a straight line, you’re not behind and you don't need to have it all figured out.
