#### about:

into intuition is an invitation for processing, regulation and re-opening ourselves to sensation in Toronto's west end. this 8 hour retreat is an opportunity for women and non-binary folks of colour*** who have experienced gender-based violence to explore and cultivate their intuition - a superpower that we may ignore or discredit. the goal of this gathering is to invite safety back into our bodies, developing a deeper trust for our intuition. in this gathering, we will focus less on 'doing' but rather on being. by practicing gentle movement with meditation, being guided in a sound bath, journalling, art and learning about intuition through science and community conversation, we'll explore what it means to trust in our own process. there will be opportunities for both individual and group reflection.

what is gender based violence? (trigger warning):
it is the type of abuse that women, girls, and Two Spirit, trans and non-binary people are at highest risk of experiencing. it can take physical and emotional forms, such as: name-calling, hitting, pushing, blocking, stalking/criminal harassment, r*pe, s*xual assault, control, and manipulation. it can happen between people in romantic relationships. it can happen in families, at work, and between friends and acquaintances and strangers. it often occurs in private places between people who know each other.
