Winter Solstice Fire & Potluck
Details
The sun sets just before 5 pm on the longest night of the year, so we’ll gather around the fire just before sunset to welcome the return of the light. I’ll be offering a Yule log to the flames and sharing a bit about the origins and meaning of Yule, which includes the rebirth of the sun and the ways different cultures have honored this turning of the wheel of the year.
What to Bring
🔘A warm jacket, hat, gloves, and an outdoor chair for the fire circle.
🔘 A dish to share for the indoor potluck. Please post what you will be bringing in the comments!
🔘 Curiosity, openness, and a willingness to slow down into the magic of winter.
