We will go for a walk around the Calderwood area of special scientific interest. This is a lovely woodland walk with well defined trails and very limited mud. This is suitable for people wearing trainers or walking shoes. The ground is generally flat and stable under foot and there is only the tiniest little bit of uphill walking.

This walk takes at most an hour and then we can go into the Fork & Field for a coffee.

Parking is on the street. Well there is a car park at Fork and Field as we will be walking for an hour before going in it might be a little unreasonable to take up all their car parking spaces so please keep that in mind for those driving.

I may bring one of my Labradors they will be on a lead at all times.
