September Book Club!

September’s book of the month is “Garden Spells” by Sarah Addison Allen. In it we meet Claire and Sydney Waverley, estranged sisters with peculiar gifts, as they try to get by and get along in their small, North Carolina town. Romance, motherhood, and domestic violence are all discussed in the novel, but sisterhood - and magic - are the main draws. I happen to love this one and I hope y’all do too!

We’re meeting at Taco Mamacita at Hamilton Place. I don’t actually think this is a particularly “tacoy” type book, but we’ve never been there and they promised patio seating for up to 16. Plus they have 2 for 1 margaritas on Wednesdays! See you there!
