Are you looking to start climbing, improve your skills, or try outdoor climbing in a friendly, supportive, and judgment-free environment? Then this is for you!
We are a growing team of qualified facilitators offering a variety of courses and trips, from indoor climbing classes and outdoor rock climbing adventures to ski touring in Slovenia and rock climbing in France. We welcome women+ of all ages, backgrounds, sizes, abilities, and experience levels — including anyone who wonders if this could be for them:)

https://www.hollyperistiani.com/womenrock2026WomenRock is a fun, practical and supportive weekend of all things outdoor climbing, on beautiful Peak District gritstone.
If you’re new to outdoor climbing, want a better understanding of movement and technique on rock, learn essential skills for trad climbing, or want to learn techniques on how to improve your mental game, come join us!Ticket options:
£185 - includes accommodation for Friday & Saturday nights in a bunkhouse in Hathersage (please bring your own sleeping bag)
£155 - without accommodation (you choose your campsite/AirBnB etc)Topics we’ll cover during the weekend:
- Intro to gritstone and climbing ethics
- Movement and technique on boulders
- Spotting when bouldering - when, why, how
- Tying in, belaying and lead belaying best practice
- Gritstone-specific techniques eg crack climbing
- Building anchors for belaying at the top or bottom
- Bottom-rope climbing (lots of this!)
- Understanding gear placement
- Placing gear on lead (with safety rope)
- Mindfulness in climbing
- Managing fear
You must have your own climbing shoes, and be able to tie in and belay. I have a limited number of harnesses and helmets for loan; if you have your own, please bring them!
