What we’re about
Welcome to Suitcase Gals! Our goals are simple...A safe place for Women over 40 to make friends, travel safely, enjoy good food & wine, and support each other.
We realize women travel differently than men. We like to get to know the people and the culture, not only see the sights. We like cozy dinners with good conversations, historical and culinary tours, and of course laughter, new friends and lifetime memories!
Who's "we"? We are a Women Owned Business, Leslie and Gurvy are Specialized Travel Advisors with years of experience in travel. We craft our trips to journey off the beaten path and embrace local traditions and make connections. Each of our trips is hosted by a Suitcase Gal Leader allowing you to travel safely within the destination. Seamless travel is the key to our tours. Our tours are arranged to allow you to have some me time if you choose, we do not consume your days with tours, rather prefer you to savor the experience.
There are a number of women who are married, single, divorced and widowed who love to travel yet struggling to find a travel companion. We are here to support and encourage each other to get out and explore. We can pair you up with a roommate or you can choose single occupancy.

Ireland, as experienced through this journey, unfolds like a timeless story—rich with old stone, sweeping green hills, and villages full of character. From the tranquil Wicklow Mountains to Kilkenny’s medieval charm, the country welcomes you with warmth and a deep sense of history.
Cobh’s colorful harbor, Blarney’s legendary castle, and the bright streets of Kinsale offer a mix of heritage and lighthearted spirit. Farther west, West Cork, Killarney, and the Dingle Peninsula reveal Ireland at its most poetic—wild coasts, quiet lakes, and landscapes that feel almost sacred.
The Cliffs of Moher rise in dramatic glory before Galway shifts the rhythm with music, markets, and seaside bustle. A stop in Athlone whispers a thousand years of stories, while Dublin brings the journey home with grand traditions, lively pubs, and cultural treasures at every turn.
Throughout, Ireland feels both familiar and magical—a land that cherishes its past, embraces its visitors, and invites you to savor every winding mile.1 attendee
