Thinking about a career change, but not sure where to begin?

Maybe you've been feeling stuck or disconnected from your current work.

Or you've started imagining a different career path, but the thought of making a big change feels overwhelming.

Especially when you've spent years building the career you already have!

Here's the thing: You don't have to figure out your entire next career before you start preparing for it.

In this 75-minute virtual workshop, you'll learn practical ways to prepare for a career pivot, without jumping into another wrong-fit role or blowing up your life in the process.

🔷 What We'll Explore:

  • WHO you are vs. WHAT you do: Why understanding who you've become can help you make more intentional career decisions (and not jump back into another misaligned role).
  • Career Experiments: How to start exploring new possibilities without making a massive leap (and why it’s actually better to approach it this way).
  • Financial Preparation: Understanding your income needs, financial runway, and ways to create more flexibility. Keep in mind, I’m not a financial advisor, but I’ll share some helpful tips (learned the hard way) to get you prepared to pivot (and not make the same mistakes I have).
  • Making Space for Change: How your environment, identity, and support system can influence your next chapter.

We'll finish with time for reflection and an open Q&A, so you can bring your questions about navigating career transitions.

🔷 What You'll Walk Away With:

You won't leave with your entire next career figured out (wouldn't that be nice?!).

But you will leave with four practical ways to start preparing, a fresh perspective on what's keeping you stuck, and realistic next steps you can begin taking right away.

This workshop is especially for you if:

  • You're a mid-career woman who suspects you've outgrown your current role or career path.
  • You want to explore a new direction but feel overwhelmed by the practical realities of changing careers.
  • You're worried about making the wrong move or losing the financial security you've worked hard to build.
  • You're anticipating a possible layoff and want to start preparing rather than waiting for something to happen.
  • You're ready to take a few small steps toward something different, even if you're not ready to make a big change yet.

🔷 Meet Your Facilitator

Hey, I'm Rebecca! 👋 I'm a holistic career coach and facilitator, and the founder of Crescent Coaching and Women Rethinking Work.

After 10 years working as a marketing leader, navigating two layoffs, starting two businesses, and eventually pivoting into coaching, I've learned a thing or two about career transitions (including how messy and uncertain they can feel!).

I'll be sharing what I've learned from my own experiences, professional coaching training, and the women I've supported through their career changes.
