Women’s Creative Writing Collective

This is a welcoming, inclusive creative writing group for women at all stages of their writing journey — from absolute beginners finding their voice, to experienced and published authors looking for community and creative momentum.

We welcome all forms of writing: novels, short stories, poetry, comics/graphic narratives, speculative fiction, literary fiction, memoir, and more. Whether you’re outlining your very first idea, stuck in the messy middle of a draft, or refining work for publication, you’re welcome here.

The group is built around mutual support rather than pressure. Our meetups are a space to:
develop ideas, concepts, and plots
talk through characters, themes, and worldbuilding
share challenges and creative blocks
seek thoughtful, constructive feedback (always optional)
connect with other women who understand the ups and downs of writing

There’s no expectation to share your work unless you want to. Listening, discussing, and learning alongside others is just as valid as reading aloud.

We’ll meet roughly every six weeks in person. Between meetups, members will be invited to join a moderated Discord server — a relaxed space to keep in touch, share progress, ask questions, swap resources, and cheer each other on between sessions.

This group values kindness, inclusivity, and respect. Writers of all backgrounds, identities, and experience levels are welcome. The aim is simple: to create a supportive creative community where women can grow as writers, at their own pace, together.
