Women’s Basic Salsa Lesson/Practice

Are you an absolute beginner at Salsa dancing? Have you taken a basic Salsa lesson in Frederick and are ready to learn more? Join us for our first meeting at the Talley Center! It will be held in Multipurpose Room B with the mirror. The room is located across from the check-in desk on the first floor.

For this session, we will focus on Salsa basics, counting and finding the rhythm. I have created a playlist of slow salsa songs and will have a presentation with videos to guide us through the basics.

We’ll do a brief introduction, warm-up, direct instruction, individual practice, then try partner practice.

Be sure to wear comfortable shoes/clothing and bring water. A pair of TOMS slip-on shoes or something similar would be perfect.

In the coming months, I will try to schedule practice on Tuesdays as well. I look forward to meeting you all!r
