Our philosophy revolves around experiential travel and deep immersion in the countries we visit. To ensure an authentic experience, we engage local guides who take us off the beaten path, allowing us to savor real local cuisine and connect with the community. Embracing the spirit of adventure, we also support local artisans by purchasing their unique, one-of-a-kind creations.
At WTA, we are dedicated to boutique travel, enabling women to truly immerse themselves in the culture of the cities they explore. With us, you need only show up and let the magic unfold. Our accommodations are carefully selected with your comfort in mind, and we only offer SINGLE occupancy rooms, with each hotel chosen based on the strictest guidelines. WTA travelers are taken on a journey that balances hustle and downtime, creating the perfect cultural tour, not just a typical vacation.
To ensure a great fit, we place importance on meeting both your expectations and ours. Hence, before booking a trip, we require every potential traveler to join our weekly call or have a conversation with someone from WTA leadership.

Day 1 – November 29 – Welcome to Havana! After landing at Havana Airport (HAV), your private driver will whisk you away to your stunning villa. Settle into your room before unwinding with a cocktail as you take in the breathtaking views and the vibrant atmosphere of your surroundings. As evening falls, join the group for a delightful welcome dinner in one of Havana’s charming restaurants.Day 2 – November 30 – This morning, embark on a guided walking tour of Old Havana, where every cobblestone tells a story. Marvel at the colorful architecture and lively street life as you delve into the city’s rich history. Later, experience the thrill of cruising in vintage convertibles, capturing the essence of Havana as you glide past iconic landmarks. As the sun sets, get ready to let loose with a salsa dancing lesson that will have you moving to the infectious rhythms of Cuba, making for a fun and memorable evening.
Day 3 – December 1 – On this special day, we’ll venture to the breathtaking Viñales Valley, renowned for its lush tobacco fields and dramatic hills. Visit a traditional tobacco farm to learn about the cultivation process, then roll up your sleeves for a hands-on cigar-rolling experience. Enjoy a family-style lunch, featuring local delicacies that highlight the region’s culinary traditions, before we return to the vibrant heart of Havana, where you can unwind and reflect on the day’s adventures.
Day 4 – December 2 – Start your day with a delightful Cuban cooking class, where you’ll learn the secrets of preparing iconic dishes. After enjoying the fruits of your labor for lunch, the afternoon is yours to explore. Stroll through local art studios, discover unique crafts, and shop for one-of-a-kind souvenirs that capture the spirit of Cuba. As evening approaches, gather for a memorable rum tasting, savoring the rich flavors of the island’s finest spirits. Conclude the day with a heartfelt farewell dinner, sharing laughter and stories as you toast to your unforgettable journey.
Day 5 – December 3 – After a leisurely breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye your new friends and the island of Cuba. Trip Summary: Immerse yourself in the wonders of Oman on an unforgettable journey full of adventure, cultural connection, and awe-inspiring landscapes. Begin your exploration in Muscat, where you’ll discover the elegance of the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, shop vibrant souqs brimming with local handicrafts, and savor authentic Omani cuisine. From there, we’ll visit Wadi Bani Khalid, where clear turquoise pools invite you to unwind amid nature’s beauty, and the golden dunes of Wahiba Sands, for an overnight at a luxury desert camp, complete with camel rides and traditional Bedouin hospitality.
The adventure continues as you ascend to the cool, terraced heights of Jebel Akhdar, Oman’s “Green Mountains.” Here, breathtaking views await as you hike through ancient villages, rose gardens, and pomegranate orchards, connecting with local artisans and farmers. Conclude your journey with an unforgettable day snorkeling at the Daymaniyat Islands, where you’ll explore coral reefs teeming with marine life in crystal-clear waters. Daily Itinerary:
DAY 1 – December 11 – Begin your journey as you arrive at Muscat International Airport (MCT), where private transportation awaits to bring you to a beautiful boutique hotel in Muscat. That evening, gather for a welcome dinner, where you’ll get to know your fellow travelers and receive an introduction to Oman’s rich culture and history, setting the tone for the days ahead.
DAY 2 – December 12 – Start the day with a guided tour of Muscat’s cultural heart, visiting iconic landmarks like the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and the Royal Opera House, where stunning architecture reflects Oman’s rich heritage and modern elegance. Wander through the Mutrah Souq, a bustling market filled with the scents of frankincense, vibrant textiles, and intricate silver jewelry, where you’ll connect with local artisans and discover Omani handicrafts and treasures. Enjoy lunch in Muscat, savoring traditional Omani flavors in a local restaurant, and this evening we’ll have dinner on the Corniche, watching the sunset over the tranquil harbor.
DAY 3 – December 13 – Leave Muscat and journey toward Wadi Bani Khalid, a beautiful desert oasis. Upon arrival, take in the stunning turquoise pools and rocky landscapes, with time to swim, relax, and explore the wadi’s picturesque surroundings. We’ll then head deeper into the desert to Wahiba Sands, where you’ll experience the iconic desert landscape with its rolling dunes and captivating sunset views.
Settle into your luxury tented accommodations and enjoy activities like camel riding and sandboarding. End the day with a traditional dinner under the stars, experiencing the peaceful ambiance of the desert.DAY 4 – December 14 – We recommend waking up for an incredible pink and gold sunrise over the sand dunes. After breakfast, depart Wahiba Sands and head to Nizwa, one of Oman’s oldest cities known for its rich history and lively souq. Visit Nizwa Fort, a remarkable example of Omani architecture, and explore Nizwa Souq, where you can meet local vendors selling crafts, silver jewelry, and spices. Enjoy lunch in Nizwa before continuing the journey to Jebel Akhdar, or the “Green Mountain,” part of the Al Hajar range. Arrive at your eco-lodge nestled in the mountain landscape, where you can unwind and take in the stunning views of terraced gardens and rocky peaks.
DAY 5 – December 15 – Spend the day exploring the serene beauty of Jebel Akhdar. Begin with a guided hike through terraced rose gardens, pomegranate orchards, and cliffside villages, connecting with local artisans who produce traditional rose water and other unique products. We’ll have tea with a local family and learn about the traditional ways of farming that families have been doing for centuries. In the afternoon, you’ll have the chance to book a visit to the spa or just relax surrounded by panoramic mountain views. We’ll have dinner again at our lodge tonight.
DAY 6 – December 16 – FREE Day. After a 1.5hr drive back to Muscat from the mountains, you’ll have the rest of the day free. You can continue shopping in the souks, visit the National Museum of Oman or Al Alam Palace, or just relax at our hotel.
DAY 7 – December 17 – For our final day, embark on an unforgettable snorkeling adventure to the Daymaniyat Islands, a protected marine reserve known for its pristine coral reefs, crystal-clear waters, and diverse marine life. A short boat ride from Muscat will take you to this stunning archipelago, where you’ll snorkel among vibrant coral gardens teeming with colorful fish, sea turtles, and occasionally even reef sharks. Relax on the white sandy beaches between snorkeling sessions and enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the untouched beauty of Oman’s coastline. In the evening, return to Muscat for a farewell dinner, celebrating the incredible experiences and friendships formed throughout the journey.
DAY 8 – December 18 – A private transfer will take you back to Muscat International Airport (MCT) for your connecting flight to the US.
