Join WTA on an enchanting trip to the City of Lights! Paris, the capital of France, is undeniably one of the most famous cities in the entire world. Known best for the Louvre Museum and the magnificent Eiffel Tower, Paris offers tree-lined boulevards sprawling with quaint cafes.
The city of Reims (pronounced as “rance”) is a must-see stop while visiting Paris. Thanks to France’s modern high-speed rail system, Reims is just 45-minutes outside of Paris. From the wine, food, and croissants to the history and art dating back centuries; your heart will leave Paris, the City of Love, whole.
Daily Itinerary:
Day 1 – Arrive at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), and private transportation will take you to your accommodations in central Paris. After settling into your hotel, meet your fellow travel companions over a fabulous Parisian welcome dinner.
Day 2 – On today’s day tour of Paris, you will visit Sacre Coeur, the Sacred Heart of Montmartre (a Roman Catholic Church and a famous landmark with rich religious and political history), and the Arc de Triomphe, which stands at the center of the Place Charles de Gaulle. This massive triumphal arch in Paris is one of the world’s best-known commemorative monuments. Last on your tour, you will experience the world’s most beautiful avenue, Champ Elysees Avenue, full of sightseeing and shopping.
Day 3 – Journey to Reims and the Loire Valley today to tour the Champagne region. Your group will visit two champagne houses and the Reims Cathedral. The Champagne and Coronation City is an important part of France’s history – the Reims Cathedral has 900 years’ worth of royal coronations with a deep historical past. With mesmerizing stained-glass windows and intricate architecture, art and history lovers alike will be blown away today!
