Tree Decorating for Gunn Auto Group’s Festival of Trees

Sincethe tree wasnt there, we will do this on Monday! Gunn collision on Woodatone drive next to gunn acurBLUF-we will be decorating a 10 foot tall tree (will receive a $250 gift card to use) for a holiday competition! We will receive the card on 1 December . We do not know which dealership yet! We need theme ideas (I say centered around women vets!). Please sharee any ideas!

The holiday season is a time for generosity, joy, and gratitude. This year, Gunn Auto Group invites your organization to join us in honoring those who serve through our inaugural Festival of Trees, a heartwarming seasonal highlight celebrating the spirit of giving while supporting local military charities.

From December 12, 2025, through January 2, 2026, our eight Gunn dealerships and collision centers will sparkle with festive lights, patriotic pride, and the magic of the season.

About the Festival of Trees

The Festival of Trees transforms each Gunn showroom into a winter wonderland of honor and hope, pairing our dealerships and collision centers with local military nonprofit organizations in a friendly holiday competition filled with creativity, community, and cheer.

Each participating nonprofit will decorate a 10-foot pre-lit Christmas tree provided by Gunn, creating a dazzling display that reflects both their mission and the spirit of the holidays. Altogether, 16 magnificent trees will shine across San Antonio and Seguin, each one telling a story of service, sacrifice, and holiday joy.

Every organization will receive a $250 VISA gift card to help purchase decorations for designing a tree that celebrates the heroes they serve; military themes are encouraged.

Visitors will be asked to “vote” for their favorite tree by donating hygiene items beneath it. Each donation equals one vote, and every single contribution helps brighten the holidays for our local military families. Votes will also be tallied through social media engagement and in-store participation, spreading cheer both online and in person.

At the conclusion of the event, two organizations will receive a special holiday gift from Gunn Auto Group:
🎖️ $5,000 will be given to the charity with the most hygiene items collected.
🎖️ $5,000 will be given to the charity with the most social media engagement.
🎖️ This offers all organizations the opportunity to take home $10,000 to support their mission.

All participating charities will receive their collected hygiene donations to share with the service members, veterans, and families they support.

Public Voting Period: December 13, 2025 – January 1, 2026

Participation Details

Each selected charity will:
• Decorate one provided 10 ft. pre-lit tree at an assigned Gunn dealership or collision center.
• Receive a $250 VISA gift card to cover decoration expenses.
• Provide a short list of needed hygiene items, which will be collected under your tree (these serve as votes.)
• Encourage volunteers, members, and supporters to visit your tree and share their participation on social media; each post shared will count as a vote.
• Coordinate with your designated Gunn volunteer for item collection and tracking.

To help your organization shine bright this season, we encourage you to:

Gunn’s creative and social media partner, TWA Creative, will promote the campaign on Gunn’s social platforms and track online engagement. An online voting survey will also allow supporters to vote once per day for their favorite decorated tree, giving every organization a chance to shine
