Have you ever wondered how computers work? It's not as hard as you think: we can talk to them, just not the way we talk to other people. In this workshop, we're scrapping the motherboards for scraps of paper. Experience being a robot for an hour so you can learn how complex tasks are performed with simple instructions! All materials used will be recycled waste.
Facilitated by: Women Who Code Belfast & Farset Labs
About Women Who Code Belfast: Women Who Code is a non-profit organisation aimed to inspire women to excel in technology careers. Since 2013 we have gained almost 1,000 members in Belfast. We hold monthly events ranging from tech talks, coding workshops to networking socials. One of our main goals is to develop the next generation of tech leaders, starting with getting children fascinated about IT. Find out more at https://www.womenwhocode.com
About Farset Labs: Farset Labs is a community funded and volunteer operated charity, opened in 2012 as a place for creativity and technological tinkering.
