We are going to announce the mentorship program 3.0! During our session, we will present you with the background of our mentorship program, what to expect and how you can register as a mentor or a mentee! We will wrap up an event with a panel discussion where experienced mentors will share insights and answer your questions, including:

  • How to build a solid mentor-mentee relationship: tips and tricks
  • Strategy on how to start mentorship relationships and how to quit
  • Also, we will talk about challenges and success stories

🎙️ Irina Kamalova, Backend Software Engineer at Revolut & Director of Women Who Code London

Had the responsibility to complete the product development lifecycle of successfully launched applications. Worked with high-load components that handled responses from millions of users and managed its 24/7 availability at Yandex. Worked with solutions for Big Data on SMACK stack, designed and implemented several solutions to improve data management for Alveo Technology.

Anjali is a backend developer working at Beamery as Technical Lead. In the last 9 years as a developer, she has worked at multiple organizations of different sizes and domains alongside amazing engineers. She has a good amount of experience ramping up the next generation of teams.
From time to time, she has been a part of mentorship programs in her journey trying to help developers like herself. She believes a good mentorship is a key to the development of both the mentor and the mentee and it's not always the mentee seeking learning from it.

Sowmya Sridharamurthy is a seasoned product quality leader with nearly a decade and half years of experience in driving software products right from inception to delivery. She has been mentoring and guiding students and professionals for the last 6 years on various platforms. Currently, she is actively mentoring through “The Mentoring Club”. Sowmya also runs active meet-ups providing a safe, non-judgemental space for learning and knowledge sharing.

Nadia is a self-taught full-stack software engineer, a book author, and a career mentor. Before teaching herself to code, she had worked as a translator and a journalist. Nadia is passionate about bringing more people from non-STEM backgrounds into tech, and she tries to achieve this through blogging, public speaking, and volunteering. She is a Lead at Women Who Code London, a Personal Development Mentor at Code Your Future, and a career mentor at Meet a Mentor.
