Session plan
1. Introduction To Savings & Investments (25%)
- Why do we need to invest?
- How much do we need to invest?
- Basic 50:30:20 rule!
- What are the different ways to invest?
- Different asset classes
- Portfolio diversification
- Basic thumb rules to achieve portfolio diversification
2. And from there we will focus on "Equities" as an asset class. We will discuss: (75%)
- What are equities? What is a stock market?
- Try and understand why the markets move the way they do! (Basic)
- How to find and analyse companies? (Basic)
- How to determine the risk of a stock investment or trade? (Basic)
