Call for Presentations (CFP) Workshop - “But I don’t have anything to say!”
Hosted by Women Who Code Sydney
Details
The YOW! WIT 2016 (http://yowconference.com.au/yow-wit-2016/) proposals are due on Feb 26 and we want to make sure you submit something! We also want you (yes, YOU) to submit more conference proposals this year :)
A lot of people feel they don’t have anything to say or that people wouldn’t be interested in their topic. But we want to hear those crazy ideas and work with you to turn them into a proposal. We also want to chat if you feel like you don’t have anything to say. Because, as one of my friends told me, “oh you have a lot of things to say! It's just you forgot they are interesting.”
If you have a rough idea already, join us! If you haven’t thought of anything, join us! If you’re not going to submit a proposal for whatever reason, but could maybe be convinced to speak at a meetup, join us!
Please join us at Canva (http://www.canva.com/), in conjunction with Girl Geek Dinners!
Requirements
• You MUST have a copy of this form (https://goo.gl/EN64vU) ( https://goo.gl/EN64vU ) filled out. It is your ticket. If you show up without it we won’t let you in.
• Bring something to write with and on.
