🗓️ About This Event: Starting the Conversation: Tech Ethics

Ethics around technology and data continue to make positive and negative headlines. As technology becomes more sophisticated, questions around ethics will continue to become more prevalent. The decisions we make today impact our companies and customers and shape the next generation of technology and technologists. The question of ethics goes well beyond right or wrong.

Join this discussion to explore the basics of tech ethics, the neutrality of technology, the biggest threat we face in this space, and steps to keep the conversation going. This will be a conversation for everyone in tech or tech adjacent. Let’s start the conversation together.

Why you should attend:

  • Connect and network with other members of the WWCode community and hear how ethical issues are impacting your industry and community
  • Learn about opportunities to work with Red Ventures
  • Understand the ethical questions impacting tech and how to keep this conversation going in your own role with your own team

About the speaker:
Lyndsey Pippin is a Senior Software Engineer at Red Ventures. Her career started at Red Ventures over seven years ago, and she has had the opportunity to work across many teams and technologies, both consumer-facing and internal. When she’s not working, she’s trying her best to parent a teenager, paddleboarding or cross-stitching.

We look forward to seeing you there!
