Play with Foster Puppies at Snug Harbor Botanical Garden

I've been fostering with P&P rescue for over 10 years now.

Come spend an afternoon playing with foster puppies at the beautiful Tuscan Garden. (Weather Permitting)

We have three senior dogs of our own-Pepita the Rat Terrier, Bobblehead the Silky Terrier & Lukie the Shih Tzu. Currently I am fostering five puppies: a bernadoodle, a portipoo, two maltese and a terrier mix all between 4 to 11 months.

I can't predict how many or which I'll have this weekend however we tend to foster at least 3 puppies alongside our own senior foster fails. As the event draws closer, I'll share which puppies we have.

What to Expect:

I'll be set up on a blanket at the Tuscan Garden -near one of the main entrances of Snug Harbor. I'll pack water, treats and toys for the pups and you can enjoy their company. I do this exercise to help the pups socialize with different people so they can learn how to play and engage. They are typically exposed to children and other types of animals as we assess food aggression or temperment with strangers. I typically charge for this experience as we get no kick backs from the rescue and we fund wee wee pads, food, treats and sometimes medications on our own dime however this meetup is free for any woman just needing some puppy snuggles.
