What we're about

Women Who L.A.F.F. (Look and Feel Fabulous) Over 40 is a group of women who are ready to love themselves more and live their best lives no matter their age or the challenges in life. We are creating new stories for our life. We find the joy and hope in all things - the good, bad and the ugly. This group will be full of creativity, fun, laughter, sisterly support and tips on how to have a healthy mind, body and spirit. Women can relax, enjoy inspirational speakers, music, dance, discuss books, socialize in different venues, plan trips and other events with other like minded women.

We meet up in person once a month at a local wine bar, Barcode, to have meaningful conversations about topics that impact women over 40 such as menopause, divorce, grief, weight loss, decluttering, forgiveness and other topics that can improve one life holistically. These meetups are hosted by a certified health and well-being coach who is passionate about inspiring and empowering women to implement new habits in their life that will reduce stress, help attract what they want in life and help them live an authentic life.

Women are known to put themselves last on their list, feel under-appreciated and overwhelmed with life. They need to find time for themselves. How many people do you know that are over 40 and have reached a crossroad, not sure what to do next or where to start once their children leave home, dating over 40, lose a partner or a job comes to an end? If you can relate, then this group is for you and maybe that person you know.

My vision for this group, is to connect women all over the country and beyond to start taking care of themselves first so that they are pouring from a cup that is overflowing and start living a creative life full of peace, joy, happiness and adventure. I believe that when women start living the life that makes them happy, this happiness will overflow into those around them and the world will become a better place. Women are creators of life. When like minded women come together, incredible things start happening.

This month, we’re weaving in a special theme inspired by my upcoming I Vote 4 Me Women’s Summit: Cultivating Self‑Worth. We’ll talk about what self‑worth looks like at this stage of life — how we protect it, grow it, and honor it.
