Garner State Park Fall Camping and Hiking

Lets enjoy some beautiful fall weather at Garner State Park!

I have reserved a screened shelter - Site: S002 in the Pecan Grove campground. The shelter only has a picnic table inside, there is electric and water. I will be bringing a cot. I am willing to share with anyone who wants to split the cost. Also we can have tents outside.

If you want to make your own reservation I recommend on doing it very soon since the park sells out quickly for this time of year.

I will also be posting separate events for hikes on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday if you just want to come up for the day.
Most hikes will be moderate to strenuous

I will be bringing firewood for campfires (unless there is a burn ban), we can coordinate group dinners if there is interest. Otherwise expect to bring your own meals.

We should be finished hiking by 2pm most days with afternoons reserved for enjoying the river or whatever brings you peace and joy!

There will be at least one night hike on Friday or Saturday.
