Let's play Trivia at The Peddler's Daughter, in Nashua NH. Teams can be up to 6 people, so if we end up with more that 6 people we can spilt into 2 teams (or option to stick together but not eligible for winning prizes). Trivia is from 7-9. If I remember correctly, there are 7 rounds of 10 questions (various topics). I will head there early, 6ish to grab a table. Please arrive with enough time to be seated at our table by 6:30pm (to allow time for ordering food and drink and sorting teams if needed) ahead of the 7pm start.

Parking: The Pearson & Railroad Square Lot are both very nearby/easy places to park.

This walk will be weather permitting - will keep an eye on the forecast and update as needed when we get closer. Lunch optional and place TBD depending on interest.

Let's enjoy the height of fall by taking a nature walk together. Starting at the NH Audubon - Massabesic Center, we will take a trail that is approx. 3 miles total and should take us about 1.5 hours (depending on how long we linger on the scenery). It starts in a grassy field, then enters a wooded area, and eventually comes out to a scenic spot (Battery Point) overlooking Massabesic Lake. This nature stroll should be suitable for all skill levels/abilities.

Note:
🚗 Parking - there is plenty of free parking at the Massabesic Center.
🥾Wear sturdy/comfortable walking shoes (hiking boots not required but be aware some parts of trail has roots and rocks).
🚻The center is open starting at 11am on Saturdays, should be available for restroom usage if needed.
🚫🐶 No Dogs allowed on this walk, their are signs explicitly stating no dogs on the trail so we have to leave the fur friends home for this one.

We will meet as a group at the Derry Public Library. All members are welcome. We will have some snacks and a bit of general social time, with a focused activity hour: to discuss the book, work on a craft (bring your own), assemble a puzzle etc.

The book selected to discuss for this date is What Kind of Paradise by Janelle Brown (published 6/3/25, put in those library holds 😉).
