I have been a Financial adviser for over 30 years working in a male dominated industry has been a driver for me, when I asked my boss 37 years ago what’s my career path his response “I thought you were here until you got married and had a baby”

What I have noticed during the last 2 years people have had time to reflect and possibly discovered the things they have enjoyed and the things they haven’t, I think they have realised a job pays the bills but doesn’t pay the luxuries

Looking back when I decided I wanted more, I wanted more time for the things that were important to me, for me, when my son was born 23 years ago I had 2 weeks maternity leave because I had no choices.
I then went menopausal 2 years later at 38 and my journey with trying to improve my health started and getting a better work-life balance.
