Hi! I’m new in town and would love to create a cozy, friendly space for myself and others to meet new people and hopefully make friends.
My idea is a small, welcoming English-language book club that meets on Saturday mornings in different cafés around Graz, with a focus on books written by women(those who identify as women). The goal is simple: good books, good coffee, and good conversation.
For our first meeting we’ll be discussing Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus by Mary Shelley, a classic written by a young woman that still raises fascinating questions about creation, responsibility, loneliness, and what it means to be human.
To keep the atmosphere relaxed and personal, the first meeting will be limited to 5 people.
