Hike + Write at the Jacksonville Arboretum

Please join us for a writing circle plus guided hike and bird-watching adventure at this Jacksonville gem! The Arboretum features native trees and plants, and we will explore the flora and fauna of wild native Florida. We'll take a short hike, then follow with a writing circle featuring themes of nature, wild Florida, and magnificent trees.

Our guides will be long-time Arboretum supporter Mindy Hawkins and Duval Audubon Society president Jody Willis.

Bring binoculars!

• What to bring
Please bring a beach chair for the writing circle, plus your favorite hiking snack and drink. (In the spirit of conservation, please bring water in a reusable container, rather than a single-use plastic bottle.) Of course, bring your favorite pen and a journal to write your observations! And don't forget your binoculars!
