Braving the Wilderness: A Three-Part Spring Series
Details
This is a three-part Spring Series that will be held on three successive Saturdays: March 21, March 28, and April 4, 2026.
This reflective series explores how bravery, breath, and balance can lead us to a more heartful, centered life.
The new year always calls us toward themes of balance. In the gentle space between winter and spring marked by the spring equinox, we find a small doorway—one we can lean against, catch our breath, and pause before stepping bravely into the wilderness of the rest of the year.
Building on this sense of balance, this three-part writing series weaves together balance with bravery and breath.
Our moment in time asks much of us. It requires courage—but we cannot meet it without rest, reflection, and the simple, sustaining act of breathing. This is the balance we seek.
Join us for a writing circle designed to call balance, brilliance, and bravery into our lives. We’ll draw inspiration from Braving the Wilderness by Brené Brown, Wintering by Katherine May, and The Heartfulness Way by Kamlesh Patel, with a particular focus on breath and presence. We'll also enjoy a hike and write in the nearby Castaway Park.
Through poetry, reflective writing, guided prompts, nature, and conversation, we’ll explore how these themes can support us throughout the year. Together, we’ll honor the rhythms of living and writing—learning when to rebuild, when to rest, and how to move forward with courage and care.
Bring a notebook, an open mind, and your words.
