Lower East Side Art Walk

Join Women in The Arts as we explore the ecclectic galleries of the Lower East Side. We've seen what Chelsea and Tribeca have to offer. Now, let's discover the Lower East Side. This art walk is guaranteed to be a unique experience. The Lower East Side is a historic neighborhood that birthed Keith Haring, Jean Michael Basquiat, Madonna and the Beastie Boys!

The Lower East Side began its modern existence as a destination for poor, working class New Yorkers. Eventually, it was completely transformed. Now it is home to dozens of art galleries.
We will walk along The Bowery, visiting iconic galleries like The Bowery Gallery, a co-operative art gallery, founded in 1969 to newer arrivals like the New Museum which moved to the Bowery in 2007.

This isn' a curated or scripted event. Its' an organic experience designed to get you moving, having fun and interacting with other members.
